Life Cycle Costs/ Whole Life Costs/ Through Life Costs
The Life Cycle Costing (LCC) element of the ILS process involves the identification
of equipment costs through the whole life cycle including Concept, Acquisition, Development,
Manufacture, In-Service and Disposal (CADMID).
LCC data can be used to identify the major cost drivers during the equipment life
cycle. This information can then be used to examine alternative support strategies
or in the conduct of ‘trade-offs’.
Adept personnel have a robust understanding of the related cost drivers and can apply
their knowledge and experience to identify the most efficient and effective support
