ADEPT ILS & Safety Solutions Ltd ILS

Our ILS expertise includes the primary supporting disciplines of Logistic Support Analysis, Reliability, Maintainability, Supply Support, Contractor Logistic Support, Spares Modelling, Human Factors, System Safety, Technical Documentation and Training. We also perform Bid Support and Management.

Providing experienced ILS Management (either as a nominated ILS Manager acting on behalf of the Client, or as a ‘Shadow’ ILS Manager) or as ILS Practitioners, we will match our staff to your particular needs, thereby providing effective and cost efficient tailored solutions. We can also provide individual ILS Element Managers and Practitioners covering all our areas of expertise.

We normally provide a fixed fee for a fixed package of work, delivered on time and within the agreed budget. Alternative fee arrangements will be considered on request. Comprehensive reports are provided at agreed intervals to ensure full and formal visibility to the Client on the Company’s progress.

ILS

Our ILS experience, knowledge and practical application of Defence Standards, including Def Stan 00-60, Mil Spec 1388 and the Def Stan 00-40 series, is both extensive and comprehensive. This considerable experience enables us to provide suitable support services to individual Company’s from the receipt and compilation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) through the entire Bid process. These services can include the provision of a response to a specific Invitation To Tender and representation and support through to and beyond Contract award. These services are tailored to the Client’s needs and can be performed as part of a Company’s ILS team or in their entirety where no in-house ILS team is available.

Our experience and skills include the preparation and upkeep of Integrated Support Plans, supporting Logistic Support Analysis and individual ILS Element Plans; Costing the ILS Process; Assessment of ILS Proposals and Pre-tender submission reviews; Post-tender discussions and negotiation support; Management of ILS Programmes; ‘Get Well’ management; Preparation for and conduct of ILS Programme Reviews.

We also offer considerable experience of developing and supporting tailored Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) programmes. This work includes various levels of support up to and including the development and costing of CLS packages and the overall management of such programmes. Specific tasks may include defect recording and tracking, the compilation of periodic CLS Reports, conducting CLS Reviews and completing Sentencing activities amongst others.

A similar level of experience and service can be provided in support of In Service Reliability Demonstrations and associated Logistics and Maintainability Demonstrations.

LSA

As Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) Managers and Practitioners we are experienced and skilled in the Preparation of Logistic Support Analysis Plans; Preparation of ILS Element Plans; Management and Conduct of LSA Programmes; Supportability Analysis; Task Analysis and support to overall programmes by management and conduct of individual elements (see below).

LSAR

To provide cost effective information to support the ILS and LSA processes we are experienced in LSAR Tailoring; LSAR Population and LSAR Reviews.

A, R & M

Supporting the design process to provide solutions that meet performance and maintainability requirements, we are experienced and skilled in the production of Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (A,R&M) Plans and Procedures and the Management and Conduct of A,R&M Programmes. We are experienced and skilled in Reliability and Maintainability Apportionment and Allocations; determination of performance through Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis; Reliability and Maintainability Block Diagrams and ARM Modelling. We are also experienced and skilled in Maintainability Demonstration Planning and Delivery, and in In-Service Reliability Demonstration Planning, Monitoring and Reporting.

Supply Support

Effective Supply Support is essential to the efficiency of In-Service support. Our experience and skill includes production of Supply Support Plans and Procedures; Management of Supply Support Programmes; Ranging and Scaling of Spares; Stock-Out Probability Modelling; Initial Provisioning and conduct of Pre-Assessment Meetings; Development and documentation of effective Contractor Logistic Support arrangements.

Through/ Whole Life Costs

We are experienced and skilled in the Development of WLC / LCC Analysis Plans and the conduct of WLC / LCC programmes.

Technical Documentation

Significant costs can be associated the production of Technical Documentation in support of any programme. Adept provide considerable experience in the preparation of Technical Documentation Plans and Procedures and the Management of Technical Documentation Programmes to ensure that these are effective and cost effective. We are experienced and skilled in the development and preparation of Technical Documentation to appropriate commercial and military standards, including AESPs, BRs and APs, including the suitability review of extant publications.

Training

Adept personnel are experienced and skilled in Training Needs Analysis (TNA); Systems Approach to Training (SAT); Analysis of Training Objectives; Course Design and Course Delivery.

Human Factors

Adept personnel are experienced and skilled in production of HF Plans and Procedures (using Def Stan 00-25 and related standards); Management and Conduct of HF Programmes; The provision of a specialist System Safety engineer for conduct of safety related assessments; Preparation of reports and monitoring follow-up actions

Bid Support
